What is LED light therapy and how does it work?

LED light therapy uses specific light wavelengths to stimulate skin cells. Red light (630–660 nm) boosts collagen production and reduces wrinkles. Blue light (415–430 nm) fights acne-causing bacteria. Near-infrared light (830 nm) promotes cell regeneration in deeper skin layers. Silkvelle devices combine multiple wavelengths for maximum effectiveness.

Who are Silkvelle LED masks suitable for?

Suitable for all skin types – dry, oily, combination, or sensitive. Especially recommended from age 25 for anti-aging prevention, and for those dealing with acne, hyperpigmentation, or dull skin. Not recommended for epilepsy, pregnancy, or active skin conditions without medical consultation.

How often should I use the LED mask?

3–5 times per week for 10–20 minutes for optimal results. First improvements typically visible after 4–6 weeks. For maintenance: 1–2 times per week.

Is LED light therapy safe?

Yes – UV-free, non-invasive, clinically tested and CE-certified to EU standards. Dermatologically recognized wavelengths used in professional clinics worldwide.

Can I combine the mask with other skincare products?

Yes. Apply on cleansed skin, then layer serums (hyaluronic acid, vitamin C) afterwards – LED therapy increases skin absorption. Avoid retinol and AHA/BHA acids directly before use.

What is your return policy?

Is there a warranty on the devices?

All Silkvelle devices come with a 2-year warranty in accordance with EU consumer law. In case of defects within the warranty period, we will replace the device free of charge or refund the purchase price.
